It consists of 15 municipalities, two cities and two Algonquin communities, i.e., the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg south of Maniwaki and lac Barrière in the heart of the La Vérendrye wildlife reserve. Located in the Outaouais, the Gatineau Valley is bounded to the north by Abitibi, to the south by the Collines-de-l’Outaouais RCM, to the west by the Pontiac and to the east by the Antoine-Labelle RCM. |
